My second Sanremo — documenting Emma Marrone's week for Capitol Records, shooting and filming across the festival with content turned around at the speed the week demands. Coming back a year after the first one changed the work. Knowing the rhythm in advance meant less time reacting and more time anticipating: where to stand before a moment happened, which corridors led somewhere worth shooting, and when to put the camera down and let a moment pass.
